Leah Havens

Project Manager

 

 

 

I am a third year student here at UT Austin and am currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and a certificate in International Development.

 

In addition to Projects for Underserved Communities, I am also involved in Engineers Without Borders, Texas THON (a student-run philanthropy group that raises money for Dell Children's Hospital), and work at the Rec Center on campus. I love traveling and exploring new places, and I think that mountain ranges are the coolest things ever.

 

In Projects for Underserved Communities, I have found a way to combine my passions with my studies, and I pretty much feel like I'm living the dream. After graduation, I hope to eventually do international or community development work for a civil engineering firm.
